True Blue Season 2 Winter finale

Image
Reader Discretion is advised It had been just over 15 minutes after the shootout with Calvin and Dwayne had occurred.  Dwayne was taken immediately to the hospital due to the injuries he had sustained in the firefight.  He had been shot twice, once in the kneecap and once in the back.  More specifically, the back right shoulder.  The clean up had also started.  The Hopcat Brewpub had been left looking awful.  There was shattered glass everywhere, blood on the floor by where the lady that had been shot was laying, and also there had been several bullet holes in the bar.  Luckily no one got hit by errant bullets other than one of the Bartenders.  Though it was minor, she was still in a lot of pain.   Looking around the room at the faces of the people that were left, was a rather intriguing experience.  There seemed to be an overwhelming amount of insecurity, and panic.  More prevalent than anything, there seemed to be a se...

True Blue Season 2 Part 2

*Reader Discretion is advised* "We will try our best" answered Tony.  "Anything else worth noting?" "Well, I feel as though I am still just earning trust.  I have a feeling that I am still on the outside for some reason.  It's been too easy" answered Detective Ramirez. "I understand.  Let me know first thing when you figure something out." In order to keep things covert, Detective Ramirez left and then was followed shortly thereafter by Tony.  They both said goodbye into their respective Coms and split. Ramirez was restless again that night.  He had finally met Kevin a couple of days ago, and the kid was a mess.  But he had to push that image out of his head and focus on the task at hand:  Earning Calvins trust was of highest priority.  He knew that he seemed to be in presently, but deep in his gut he felt that wasn't true.  But for right now, he had to wait, which was not his greatest strength.  He laid awake for...

Reader Discretion is advised After a brief pause, he put the two sticks of C4 next to his concoction and plugged a couple more spare wires that were left on the motherboard into the sticks of C4.  He told Calvin to back away, and then asked if he could borrow Dwayne's phone, and then told him to get away from the live bomb.  He plugged his number into Dwayne's phone and started running.  He glanced down and whispered to himself "Oh Shit!" As he realized that he accidentally hit call on the way from the explosion to the 30-foot marker, he hit the dirt and waited.  5...4...3...2...1 he thought to himself and on zero a bang filled the quarry.  He breathed a sigh of relief as he covered his head to protect himself from flying debris. Calvin was watching from the specified distance and thought that something had gone wrong when James hit the deck.  He took a few steps forward, but after a few seconds passed he saw the dust and debris fly...

11/18 - 10:30 pm I have never been this troubled before.  I lay awake tonight, still deeply troubled about what had happened earlier.  I keep looking back at this thinking and contemplating about why this happened.  What had caused this mass explosion of this gift or curse that I have discovered?  Is there more I can do? Or does it stay here? I paused and looked up to the ceiling to at least do some soul searching, and finding myself at a crossroads. So I continued journaling to put my thoughts out on paper What do I do?  Do I explore and see how far I can stretch it? Or just let it be?  You know what: I am going to attempt to explore this new found talent (If you could even call it that) and see if there is more. *** I quickly shut my journal when I heard some footsteps approaching my room.  I quickly shut my journal and turned off my light that was sitting next to me, and got under my covers.  As my mom entered the...

The Safe Room (Guilt)

Note: This is a trip into one of the darkest parts of my brain, and this is really scary for me to open this door, but this is real.  Something that I actually deal with every once in awhile.  This is actually my first time opening this door into my mind.  I was debating whether or not to write a story about this, but then I realized no allegory could do this justice.  I am shedding actual tears as I write this, so please understand that this is hard for me to put out there.  I pray that God uses this in more ways than I could ever imagine.  This representation was inspired By NF's Mansion. My mind is like a mansion.  There are several rooms inside, layered into three levels.  Everyone sees my main floor, some people see my room, and fewer people see my basement.  Inside that basement, there is a storage room, and then the saferoom, that no one is allowed in.   The storage room is where all of my best friends get to see, but in...

Warning: Language, and things that you should not try at home.  EVER.  If you do, the police will show up and bad things will ensue.  James asked Roxanne if Kevin had been given anything to eat, and Roxanne said shook her head.  After some convincing on James' part, she decided to make Kevin a turkey sandwich with a side of chips, with a napkin on the side.  James took note of the napkin and then looked around covertly for a pen and had no luck. He picked up the plate and started to look for Kevin.  While he was looking around he found a kid around his age and approached him cautiously.  After a few seconds, James reached him and then crouched to his knees, so that he seems non-threating and closer to the kid's height  to seem friendly, and asked: "Have you seen a kid around your age in here?" The kid nodded and pointed in the direction of a room at the end of the hall.  "Thank you-," he paused for a second to try and remember...

"Let's go, Jake! We have to pack! What's taking so long?" "I'm working on it!" I called back, rushing around trying to pack several sweatshirts into my suitcase.  "It's 10:00 for Pete's sake! We are leaving to get to the airport in 12 hours!" "I'm almost finished! Just let me find my journal and the book I'm reading" "Journal?  What the hell man! Grow a pair." I rolled my eyes, knowing that my dad gets like that sometimes and that it was all in love.  "Done!" I replied, reaching for my carry on that we were allowed to have on the plane.  Not only did the bag carry my journal and the book I was reading currently, but it also carried my laptop and phone.  I was also setting my wallet on my nightstand next to my bed.  I carried my stuff into the entryway and set it down.  After that, I went to my room and went to bed. The next morning I got up with plenty of time to spare.  I...
