True Blue Premier Part one

Kevin had just entered his house after high school had let out for the summer.  He finished his finals earlier that day and dropped his backpack in house office.  He sat down and emptied it onto the desk and started looking through his stuff breathing out a sigh of relief and thought to himself, Finally sophomore year is over.  I am going to be an upperclassman.

He had a job lined up for the summer, but that didn’t start until the following Monday. So, he headed downstairs to the basement, and just powered on the Xbox One, put in Grand Theft Auto V, and was waiting for the game to load.  Just as the game had finished loading his mom came down the stairs and saw him sitting in front of the TV.  Once she reached the bottom of the stairs she walked towards him and said, “Kevin, you are not planning on sitting down on your but for the rest of the day are you?”
Kevin turned his head around and answered dryly, “No, I was just going to start a new game.”

“You could do that after you spend some time outside, and then with us. You have all summer to do that.  It's really nice outside.”

He turned his head and said in a harsh tone, “Ok.” And rolled his eyes.  Afterward, He went upstairs, put his shoes on and grabbed his bike, and rolled it out of the garage.  Once he was outside, he took a deep breath and looked around.  It was sunny and a nice 65 with some slight wind coming in off the lake that was to the east.  He hopped on his bike and headed towards the high school.  He hoped he would be able to run into his friends from the school, but he was unsure if they would be out yet.

He arrived at the high school about 20 minutes later, and sure enough, his friends were not out of school yet.  After waiting outside of the school for 5 minutes, he felt like he should attempt to go on a bike ride around the lake, but that was quickly shot down, just because he didn’t feel like it.  He then decided he would bike to the downtown area, so he did.  Several moments passed and he eventually arrived at the intersection of Wealthy street and Bagley avenue.  He glanced over to his left and he saw his grandpa going for a walk, so he turned and then talked with his grandpa for awhile, and then said that he had to go because he had something’s to do. Something was, however, tugging at his curiosity beyond that intersection, so he continued down The street and the arrived at the corner of Wealthy and Lovett.

He looked over to his left and much to his surprise, there was an abanded building on the left, with its door cracked open.  This made him even more curious.  He thought for a moment, and then leaned his bike up next to the road sign and locked it to that sign.  He said a silent prayer and cracked the door open even further.  He peaked his head inside and saw that it was all dark inside of the building, except for one small light that seemed to be coming in from the upstairs.  He crept into the building, and silently guided the door to the position where it was.  He closed his eyes for 30 seconds like they teach at camp for his eyes to adjust to the darkness.  He opened his eyes after thirty seconds and saw that there were wood pallets with barrels stacked almost to about 6 feet, which was enough to conceal his 5’11’ frame.

He stalked forward, being sure not to bump anything because he felt like any noise would blow his cover.  He continued to sneak around the building towards the steps that the light was coming from.
As he got closer, he started to hear some voices seeming like they were coming from farther down the hallway.  He was having some trouble picking out some of the words through what seemed like an extremely thick accent, and the voices were hushed.

As he continued to stalk forward, he heard a small sound that scared him,  he quickly glanced around only to find that it was a little rat.  As he got closer, he began to see some pictures that seemed to be a map of something

Just as he got close enough to see the images in more detail,  he bumped into something, and then in slow motion, it fell to the floor.  He tried to catch whatever it was, but it was too late.  As it crashed to the ground he thought to himself Well shit.   You have just screwed yourself.  The crash caused a chain of events that were terrifying for anyone to experience.  The voices that he was hearing began to raise, and Kevin began to see the 3 men start to walk closer.  He instinctively began to run but tripped on something and fell hard to the ground.  He winced and began to start crawling, trying to find any place to hide.

The men got closer, and he continued to slither around on the ground like a snake trying to find it’s prey.    As he got farther away from the men, he flattened himself against the barrels.  He glanced back and saw the white of an eye peek out around the corner, and he pressed himself against the barrels trying not to knock anything over.  He then saw a gun.  It was a 9mm Glock, and it fired a shot nearly hitting him.  Kevin looked around for any option to get out.  His only choices were to run, fight or try to figure something out.

He saw the way that the Barrels were placed, so he decided to scramble up to the top because there was space enough for him to lay horizontal, so he began to climb.  In the process, however, he knocked a couple of barrels down.  Another shot fired this time from across the room, then, he heard someone call “I want him alive!”  At this, he got shot in the shoulder, and he fell.   He scrambled up to his feet because he wasn’t one to just give up. As he got up and turned around he saw that the guy that shot him was standing over him. He looked around for a piece of wood or something to use to defend himself, and sure enough, there was a scrap piece of wood.  He grabbed it and swung.  It caught the guy square on the jaw, leaving him with a deep cut, and blood dripped from it.  The hit distracted him for a second, and he had spat out some teeth, so Kevin ran.  He almost got to his bike, but before he got there, one of the people hit him on the back of the head, knocking him out cold.

The leader of the group of men put a sack over his head, and the group carried him through the building, and then out the back and threw him into the trunk and they drove off.

When Kevin came too, he was in the back of the trunk, and he had no idea how long he was out, so he started to panic.  After a few minutes, he contemplated his situation.  His hands were zip-tied together, his legs taped together, and he couldn’t see because of the bag that was over his head.  Although there was a lot of things he couldn’t do, he could feel the car moving.  They seemed to be going straight for a while, so over time, he started to count to himself because, he knew, on average, when you are driving you logically go a block a second if there is no traffic.

After awhile, the car seemed to be slowing down in anticipation of something.  Then he felt the car start to turn, and go around in almost a circle.  He counted again to himself “one…two… three…four”, and then the car slowed down and turned and went around in another half circle like shape.  He counted again and then started to hear something like a major highway through the car.  Not even five seconds passed and they slowed down and made a left.

Then there were railroad tracks and the car started to slow down, turned right and then eventually come to a stop.  He then heard the trunk open, and then voices, and he was lifted out of the car and dragged forcefully.  They stopped, he heard a door open, and they then took him inside and escorted him up some stairs, and walked him into a room, took the sack that was over his head off, shut the door, and locked it.  He had been kidnapped.
