Merry Go Round (Footsteps in the Sand)

Oh Lord, Is this it?  Can it really be?  I know That You are there in everything in the past, present, and future, But right now, its like I don't feel You here right now.

Is this all that life has to offer?  Just getting up and doing things that you are supposed to do, even when they aren't what you really want to do?  I guess that's just it.  This life just goes and goes around and around until you get bored, and then it just continues like a Merry go round.

It's kind of funny you know.  The comparison between a merry go round and daily routines.  One moment you are on the top of the world, but the next it seems it all comes crashing down to the point that sometimes all that keeps you going is your daily routines.  Life sometimes looks a lot like the circle of life, but only daily. I guess that it should be the circle of the Daily struggle.

Like a merry go round, You know that at some point something could change and bring it to an end.  But who really knows when the daily "Circle of life" other than the one who created it all.  You are in control and always will be, but I can't see or feel you right now.

I know you say in your Word, that you have walked this road and you are there in front of me leading the way.  Like footprints in the sand, but they are invisible right now.  The one thing that I keep thinking about is that one line in  Eminem's Not afraid's chorus which states, "We'll walk this road together through the storm, whatever weather: cold or warm just letting you know, you are not alone" (Not afraid, Eminem).

Could it be that that could inspire me to keep going marching on, really? It's weird what could be used to inspire you.

This merry go round could keep going, but I will embrace the daily circle of life, Focused on the one who created it all.  He who is illuminating these footsteps in the sand.

New Year New Me - Blog Goals

As the ball dropped in NYC on December 31, I started to think of some ways to make both myself, and this blog better, and set this blog apart from other blogs.  Granted this is going to be hard so I started to do some brainstorming.  As I started to brainstorm, I came up with several ideas, but a lot of them are going to be really hard to achieve, especially on a students' budget.  I am going to star the ideas that I feel are more of a 3-year plan. After the initial list, I am going to break down each one for you all.  Be more approachable especially when I am going to different places. Pack Mentality Season 2 Part 11

Then-- Rick started to change.  The transition started with the eyes and then started to expand until he wound up with him being slightly bigger than Jackson, the eyes of his wolf-like form, slightly darker than Jacksons', Seeming to show the relationship between the two. The two of them trotted side-by-side, over to the scar-faced wolf and then, with a slight glint of pride the scared wolf said, "Welcome young Jackson.  Rick, do you promise to train Jackson in the ways of the wolf?" __________________________________ Rick stepped towards the Alpha, a glint of pride seemed to reflect off of his wolf like form and a spark of intent sparkled in his blaze orange eyes.   "I will, but not to the point where the monster takes over the man, Brandon ."
