Movie Review: Jason Bourne

Brief Summary  Jason Bourne is back again with his return to the silver screen. This time he uncovers even more about his past and gets drawn in with a women rise in the CIA. Rating  This movie is rated PG 13 because of Violence, Language, and action. Family Friendliness   (Letter Grade) I give this movie a C because of a couple things.  The first of these includes several parts with blood and Violence.  Also there is some swearing and Chaotic scenes that are hard to follow.  You could view the full parent report via IMBD  here . Recommended Age Group I think that this rating is honestly pretty correct.  I recommend 13 to 14 for this film for parents to go with, but as always it is Ultimately  the parents decision of the age for kids to go alone. Review  This is really a great movie in my opinion except for a couple of nitpickky things.  But overall it is a good film.  In my opinion, There is a lot of shaky cam. ...

Movie Review: Secret Life of Pets

Brief Summary  The Producers of Despicable me decide to make a movie about what pets do when there owners are gone.  But with a curve ball, Max (Voiced by Louis CK), has to adjust to living with another mutt named Duke (Erick Stonestreet).  But, through a series of unfortunate  events they encounter lots of challenges to grow together. Rating The movie is rated PG for action and relatively rude humor.   Family Friendliness   (Letter Grade) I give this movie an A+ because there is hardly anything inappropriate that is worth noting.  For more information on the film Click  Here .  Even though they have some good points, I kind of disagree. Recommended Age Group 6+.  There are some kind of scary scenes for very young kids, but other than that it is fine for pretty much everyone, but ultimately it is the parents decision. Review  I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5 stars because it is almost to tame for its rating which is no...

Movie Review: Finding Dory

Brief Summary  Disney and Pixar resurrect Finding Nemo with another movie in the series, Finding Dory.  Dory, The forgetful blue tang begins to remember her family and where she came from and goes on an adventure with Nemo, Marlin, and one of my favorite character from the previous movies: Crush.  They meet a couple of new characters to add to their posse along the way. Rating The movie is rated PG for a couple of thematic elements including raising a child with a disability, Separating a child with a disability from their parents to live on their own, and a little bit of bullying. Family Friendliness   (Letter Grade) I give Finding Dory a solid B for family friendliness because of a couple reasons.  The first is Dory starts to give a group of Kids what is known as (in America at least) "The Talk,"  The second is the fact that there are a couple of topics brought up in the film that are questionable for kids.  But other than those two, there is ...

Movie Review - Zootopia

Brief Summary  In a city of animals, a bunny rabbit and a fox work together to solve an ongoing case that has been happening for a couple of months prior to the movies setting.  The case later involves animals going crazy due to a mysterious force. Rating The movie is rated PG because of thematic elements, rude humor, and some action. Family Friendliness   (Letter Grade) I give this movie a solid B+  for family Friendliness.  This is because there is only one main questionable part in the entire movie.  True there are some weird jokes in there, but none that parents, of kids that go to public school should be concerned about.  If there was anything that parents should be concerned about, the moral of the story is spectacular. Review  I give this movie 4 out of five stars because the morals were spectacular  in this film.  Also there is some great voice acting, and some spectacular camera angles during the film.  The s...
