Pack Mentality S2 Part 6
Previously in Pack Mentality
The spiral that was fresh when Eagles' Flight, Jackson, and Rick were there was less defined, but still visible. Bramble and Jackson moved toward it and looked at it for a second then Jackson traced while Bramble sniffed it and the two of them were drawn into a completely different area.
The two of them were standing side by side and were watching a scene unfold in front of them. It was dark outside in front of them. They looked up to see what time it was and not a lot of moon was visible, but it was enough to reflect off of the ground. The occasional raindrop fell on the two of them, and it eventually led to a downpour. Just barely in the light, the two of them could make out the silhouette of a wolf. He was looking at the moon, and then glanced over towards them. Bramble could just barely make out his reflection. Then as quickly as the vision had begun, it ended.

Jackson and Bramble looked at each other awkwardly, Slightly confused. After a moment, Bramble broke the silence: "Well, that went differently than expected," He paused for a brief second, and then resumed, "What do you think ?"
"I really don't know," Jackson hadn't been this confused since he had woke up in the medics den at Pheonix's sun's camp a couple of weeks ago. He silently shivered as the memory of that night drowned him in his thoughts. Rick saw him start to shake and rubbed his back. He turned to Rick expentantly.
Rick met Jackson's gaze and bent down to one knee, His elbow on his knee, and hand rubbing his clean-shaven chin. His eyes lit up as he came up with an idea "Maybe we are just missing a piece of the puzzle."
"What do you mean?" Jackson asked interested in what Rick had to say.
"Both you and Bramble had seen this quote-on-quote spirit right? Maybe since both you and Bramble saw it, you added a part of the vision you two were seeing?"
Bramble and Jackson looked at each other for a moment and then tore off after Eagle's flight. Then Rick added as the two of them left, "It was just a theory... Come on!" and then he followed, running after them as fast as he could. By the time he reached them, they were already on their way back with Eagle's flight in the middle, Jackson bringing up the rear, and Bramble setting the pace. "Let's try this again," Rick stated matter a factly, glaring at the threesome. They arrived at the spiral, which was still just barely visable. The threesome glared at it expectently, waiting patiently and anxiously.
A breeze slowly started to pick up around all three of them, ruffling Bramble and Eagle's Flight's fur. The breeze started out slow, and then gently picked up speed. Soon enough, the breeze was so strong that it practically picked Jackson up. Almost as fast as the wind began, it slowed by at most 35%, still strong and the temperature decreased to a slight chill. Then the Rain started, and it got harder and harder over time. Right in front of them in the low light, the threesome could barely make out the silhouette of a wolf in the water. The rain which was now a downpour disrupted the clean silhouette.
Then the wolf raised its head up slowly, and then the could see what it was looking at: an entire pack lost somewhere in the park. Then in front of them, above the pack, a single flame flashed in front of them. They then found themselves back looking at the tree, the spiral - completely gone.
