Brambles Prophecy: Season 2 Prologue
Jackson was walking through the woods late at night, looking at the stars, shaking his head. It had been 3 months since the blood moon, where the stars came swiriling down, talking to the Packs that surround Lewis Lake. These last three months have been really hard for The Tribes to handle. There have been a lot of territorial scuffles. One of the leaders had died in a very large battle, and a few of the tribe members in the complex had been starting to lose their faith because the summer had been very dry, and prey was not running as much as they would have preferred, leading to many of the members eating scraps, and coming closer, and closer to where Rick and Jackson were stationed. They have had to sit on night watch to keep the wolves from harming the visitors who were staying at the campground.
Phoenix's Sun had also had to keep wolves on watch with the two of them. To cap it all off, the Tribes seemed to revert back to their old ways, but keeping the leader's names, and the tribe names the same. Though it had seemed to make it easier on the tribes lives easier, Jackson disagreed with the Decisions that the tribes Alpha's have made. Rick and Jackson still stood by the tribes, though they disagreed.
Also, the new boundries that have been decided on did not hold up, because of a number of border scuffles that seemed to be occurring. So all things considered, the last few months have been lost.
While Jackson was in his thoughts, he heard something coming from the left side. He flattened himself to the ground and took out his bow and arrow and armed himself. He also took out his flashlight and turned it on. His heart was racing. This was his first time out in the woods at night, without Rick at his side, for he had only been a Beta for roughly a half a year. He kept his breathing low, just as he had been taught. Before long he saw a shape creep out of the shadows, It looked like nothing he had seen before. He turned off his Flashlight, stood up silently, pulled his bow tight and waited. Inside of his head, his mind was screaming telling him to run, but he stayed put. He had not been this scared since he got into a stare down with a few members of the Tribe of the Falling Sun.
The shape continued to move closer, and he could start to make out the details of the body. The body was very lean but ghastly. he eventually heard a Whisper, "Jackson. Come closer." Terrified that the shape knew his name he took a step back. "Don't be afraid. I am with you." Jackson, who was dumbfounded, continued to step backward. He clumsily tripped over a bush and fell onto his back, He knew he had hit something hard when he reached behind his head to check for blood, and behold, there was some red on his hand Blood.
The voice continued, "You've fallen. Here let me help you."
Jackson felt something crisp to the touch grab his Hand and lifted him up. Jackson asked, "Who are you?"
The shape then faded away, "Seek and you will find."
Jackson then fled back to the campground. I'll talk to Rick and look at his history papers that he has.
