Movie Review: Jason Bourne

Brief Summary  Jason Bourne is back again with his return to the silver screen. This time he uncovers even more about his past and gets drawn in with a women rise in the CIA. Rating  This movie is rated PG 13 because of Violence, Language, and action. Family Friendliness   (Letter Grade) I give this movie a C because of a couple things.  The first of these includes several parts with blood and Violence.  Also there is some swearing and Chaotic scenes that are hard to follow.  You could view the full parent report via IMBD  here . Recommended Age Group I think that this rating is honestly pretty correct.  I recommend 13 to 14 for this film for parents to go with, but as always it is Ultimately  the parents decision of the age for kids to go alone. Review  This is really a great movie in my opinion except for a couple of nitpickky things.  But overall it is a good film.  In my opinion, There is a lot of shaky cam. ...

Ballpark Review: Progressive Field

Image
Panorama Ballpark Road trip number one.  This ballpark is progressive field, home to the Cleveland Indians.  Before I get started, some of the rankings may not be accurate because the game that we went to was a blowout to the twins (the team they were playing).   All in all I enjoyed this ballpark but there were a couple of things that could be improved for the fan experience. Overview Field Surface - Grass Type of stadium - Open / Modern Occupancy - 35, 225 The Goodyear blimp made an appearance  Easy To get to (0 - 3)  This stadium is easy to rate because it is actually right off the highway, and it is pretty much in the heart of the city, resulting in one of the shortest walks my family has ever had to get to a game. this resulted in the ballpark getting a 3 out of 3   Parking (1-5) Parking at Progressive field varies from $5 to $20  and the parking lots are all around the field so I give this area 5 /5. Food Choices (Scale of...

CD Review: Skillet/Unleashed

Skillet has been around the music industry.  Not only are they a Christian Band, They are one of the premier rock groups in the Rock Genre.  They fall under a group of artists that I like to call crossover because they get turns on both Christian rock, and normal rock stations.  Some of their hits include Hero, Monster, Rebirthing, and Lucy. Similar Artists Pillar Red 12 Stones Nickelback Thousand Foot Crutch  Review Skillet kind of changed their sound on this CD, But it is still good.  It is not like there old school electric Guitar Based rock.  It is more electronic, which I do not mind.  Some things worth noting are the Rhythms, and the Drummer.  The rhythms are very complex on this CD, and I really like paying attention to them because they are exciting.  Also the Drummers voice is AMAZING.  On the CD her voice is kind of autotune to sound like she is belting it out, but live her voice is a lot like Idina Menzels voice i...

Virtual. Reality.

Note to the Reader   This article might be a bit of a left turn from my usual articles, but I feel like this article has some points that some people need to here along with others.  This article is more focused towards a christian audience (there might be a little bit of theology in this article), but if people are interested in this topic, Please feel free to read.  This article is going to address the topic of community , social media, and other things in a technological world.  Before I get started, I want to address the haters that are probably going to be saying that I am being a hypocrite because I blog, but I am not because I love the blogging world.  It is an great way to get your opinions out there and reach the world in general.  This is beside the point, but I have had views from the US to Ukraine, which is awesome (I love you guys).  Getting back to the topic at hand though, This article is not just going to be bashing social media. ...

Ballpark Review Wrigley Field

Image
Wrigley Panorama Now it is time to review my home Park, Wrigley Field.  Not only does it have history, but it has charm and an atmosphere that is different than any other ballpark I have been to.   The players and coaches also give out a lot of handouts to the bleachers, so lets just dive in.  Overview Field Surface - Grass Type of stadium - Open Occupancy - 41, 160  Easy To get to (0 - 3)  For this area I give wrigley a 2 because even though it is out of the City , it is easy to find and there are plenty of signs telling people how to get to the park.  For me it is only like 2 miles off the highway. Parking (1-5) Parking at wrigley is wrigley is very expensive  and a majority of the parking is a pretty far ways away from the ballpark, so I give parking at wrigley a 2.  However, to avoid the fees, park on Clark past W Belle Plain Avenue.  Even though it is a bit of a hike, it is free parking.  There is also a buss s...

Album Review Relient K / Air For free

Image
Air For Free Album cover - off Google search Reliant K is Not a new artist at all.  They have been around for 18 years and have several hits including The Sadie Hawkins Dance, Be My Escape, and Must have done something right.  They are an old school christian rock band. They are also quite fun. Similar Artists Superchick Everyday sunday House of Heros Switchfoot Review I love the fact that Relient K went old school with this one.  There are several songs with super complicated rhythms (hate to go music geek), great use of autotune on a couple of the songs two.  I really enjoyed this CD.  To keep it short and sweet, I give this CD a 5 out of 5.  To elaborate on the positive ranking, They also do a good job of not doing the same types of songs over and over again. My Favorite Songs   Prodigal Runnin' Air for Free ____________________________________________ ~ Good Luck to all athletes at the Rio Olympics!! ~ I am going to...
