Travel Review - Milwaukee Part 1

Recently my family and I went up to Milwaukee two days during Spring Break, so I decided I would write a travel review of the downtown area.  The days that we went were March 22 and 24th, as a rough guess, because it was a couple of weeks ago.  The First Day we went to the Sprecher Brewery in Glendale, WI (a suburb Of Milwaukee) and the Second day we went to the Clock Shadow Creamery, and Indulgence Chocolatiers.

Sprecher Brewery

 My family and I made the decision to go up to Sprechers the day before.  We got there a half hour before our would be tour and the guy at the front let us into the tour.  Little did we know that a couple of moms where having a quote-on-quote moms day out with the kids, which made the tour that we took rather entertaining.  Our tour guide had a couple of bad jokes which also added to the tour experience making it even more fun.  Also my sister and I had some free soda and My mom and Dad sampled 4 beers.

Family Friendliness (Letter Grade)
Family Friendliness I give the tour at Sprecher Brewery a really  high B.  The main reason for me not giving the Tour a A is the fact that the Bottling Center was extremely loud.  During this stop during the tour I saw a little girl walking towards the back, her full hands Clasped over her ears.  I also understand that there is not a lot you can do for the noise level.

Gift Shop (1-5)
The gift shop was really organized and had a lot of gift oriented things, with out a post card station that I could tell, but I don't think that is a big deal.  They also had all their beers and sodas available to buy, and also shirts were all over the wall.  I give the gift shop a solid 4.5.

Overall experience (1-10)  
Overall I give the Sprecher Brewery a solid 8 out of 10

Clock Shadow Creamery 

 The next day my family and I decided to go back to Milwaukee again the following day because it was supposed to be super nice, and also stuff in Downtown Milwaukee is a lot cheaper than Downtown Chicago.  The first stop on this second trip to Milwaukee in three days was the Clock Shadow Creamery.  My mom found this place super interesting when we were waiting at Sprecher for our tour.

Family Friendliness 
I give the "tour" here a D-. The biggest reason I give this such a low grade is because it didn't even classify as a tour.  It was more of a lecture than anything.  We were just sitting in this closet.

Gift shop 
The gift shop was good here but not great.  There were not a lot of shirt choices.  They also Had a lot of there Products which was good, along with giving free samples of their cheese curds, But those were the only good things about the gift shop, so I give this place a 3.5

Overall experience 
Overall I give this place a 3 out of 10

Featured Food - Indulgence Chocolatiers 
Indulgence Chocolatiers Was an awesome little spot that had quite a lot of charm with it.  It also had a $9.00 Wine and Chocolate pairings (you get three choices).  We didn't do that though.  the customer service was above par.  The person that told us about what was what was super nice.

Family Friendliness
For family friendliness I give this place a low C. There are a couple reasons for This place getting a C-.  The first reason for this is the fact that it had a relatively formal ambience about it, and the second reason for this is the fact that I just feel that kids would not appreciate the experience because there is not a lot to do at the place.

Gift shop
I give the gift shop a 3.5 because They gave out free samples, and also it was extremely organized and easy to navigate, Even though it was not so much a gift shop but more along the lines of a small little sweet shop.

Overall Experience 

Overall I give this place a 8.5 Because of the lower grade for family friendliness, But it is a great place to Get away from the kids if they are on the younger side of the spectrum.  If they are older though, I think that they would enjoy this little spot.

New Year New Me - Blog Goals

As the ball dropped in NYC on December 31, I started to think of some ways to make both myself, and this blog better, and set this blog apart from other blogs.  Granted this is going to be hard so I started to do some brainstorming.  As I started to brainstorm, I came up with several ideas, but a lot of them are going to be really hard to achieve, especially on a students' budget.  I am going to star the ideas that I feel are more of a 3-year plan. After the initial list, I am going to break down each one for you all.  Be more approachable especially when I am going to different places. Pack Mentality Season 2 Part 11

Then-- Rick started to change.  The transition started with the eyes and then started to expand until he wound up with him being slightly bigger than Jackson, the eyes of his wolf-like form, slightly darker than Jacksons', Seeming to show the relationship between the two.
